Meet our team

All of our instructors are highly qualified professionals, widely acknowledged in their field.

Guy Grand

Director Emeritus | Co-Founder                 Veteran Adjusting School

Guy co-founded Veteran Adjusting School (VAS) in 2012. Over the next 13 years, VAS became the premier training institution for new insurance adjusters, Known for its rigorous standards and exceptional results.

In 2024, VAS made the decision to close its brick-and-mortar campus and step back from traditional operations. Guy was ready to enjoy a well-earned retirement—but it wasn’t long before several VAS-Trained Adjusters approached him with a bold idea: bring  the VAS elite training online.

As the “old guy” of the group, Guy is proudly passing the torch to a new generation of VAS-Trained Adjusters. Committed professionals who share the mission of improving industry standards and helping fellow adjusters succeed.

Now serving as Director Emeritus, Guy enjoys the best of both worlds: semi-retirement and the continued opportunity to mentor those who strive for excellence in their adjusting careers.

Scott Limbacher

                  Lead Instructor
                   VAS-Trained

Scott  served in the Army National Guard, including a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Upon returning home, he joined the very first graduating class of VAS-Trained Adjusters in 2013.

Scott immediately went into the field, handling both daily and catastrophe claims before advancing into a role as a file reviewer. In January 2017, VAS Co-Founder Guy Grand invited him to join the school’s instructional staff—a decision that would shape the future of VAS training.

Over the next seven years, Scott taught at the VAS campus in Sedona, Arizona. In 2020, he became the Lead Instructor after earning certification as an adult educator.

Since taking on that role, countless VAS graduates—many of them former military instructors themselves—have praised Scott as the best instructor they’ve ever had. His mix of real-world experience, structured teaching style, and passion for mentoring have made him a cornerstone of the VAS legacy.
