VCAP Application

To maintain the high standards and consistency that define the VAS Certified Adjuster Program (VCAP), all prospective students must meet the following prerequisites before enrolling or submitting payment. These requirements ensure that each participant is fully prepared to join an elite team of professional adjusters.

1. Letter of Recommendation- Applicants must provide a letter or email from an Independent Adjusting Firm or Insurance Carrier they work for confirming: (a) The applicant has closed at least 30 claims. (b) They would be a good fit for advanced training.
2. Home State Adjuster License- A valid Designated Home State (DHS) or resident adjuster license is required. This must be current and in good standing.
3. Xactimate Subscription- Participants must have an active subscription to Xactimate during the entirety of the course. Note: Trial versions or Xactimate Online only are not permitted.
4. Xactimate Certification- Participants must hold a Level 1 Xactimate Certification. Level 2 Certification is strongly preferred.
